REVIEW: Aftermath by Clara Kensie

I enjoyed this book soooooo much! I fell for the charlotte from the first chapter. She had been put through so much by the man who abducted her. What kept her going was dreaming of her family going about their lives safe and sound. Including her twin who she hoped was going after all the goals they put in their “dream book”. When this book begins, Charlotte is found by the police and taken to the hospital.  Soon after getting there she sees her parents again. She wants nothing more than to go home with them and see her sister… Read more »

Rewiew: Virtual Arcana Books 0-3

A few months ago I found this series via the great people at Netgalley (if you haven’t been there you need to check it out!) offered by the author herself.  Recently she put out a box set of the first 4 books. The story centers around a set of twins living in a post-apocalyptic and high tech world world where even caffeine intake is regulated. One of of the aspects about this series that I like is how it follows the order of the Major Arcana (in tarot) and the cards in it. Starting with 0 which is the fool…. Read more »
